Mainstream media is shite

Tonight’s Feature Entertainment on your TV

7.30: America’s Stupidest Nonentity

Revel in the repartee as 10 carefully selected nonentities bicker and bitch.

8.30: I’m Obese!

We found someone who eats five kgs of lard every day. We spent six months filming this person.

9.00: Did You See What That Fuckwit Driver Just Did!

Man, he totally cut in front of that white car! What an idiot!

10.00: CSI <insert city here>

Generic crime franchise. Moody, boring.

Hard to argue with actually. The reason some people go out a lot, really.

Well that's what I used to tell the Mrs while, she watching E True Hollywood stories and reading No Idea.

Seemed to work...

You forgot this popular choice.

BRATS ON THE RAMPAGE
If you thought your kids were out of control, enjoy the schadenfreude when you see a 4-year old psychopath run riot.

Same crap worse accent over here in Aus. Plus the main broadcasters seem to delight in pulling series when they're halfway through and doing their upmost to confuse, alienate and piss off the viewer.

Everything I watch these days is via Foxtel IQ (My Sky) or Bit Torrent.

Tee it up to record what you like, sit down to watch it when you're ready and you get the added pleasure of skipping through all those pointless, tedious, unimaginative, expensive ads at x30 speed.

Only thing Mainstream media is good for is live broadcast.

CSI (insert city)

Man that fucks me off.

"Wow that CSI rated really well. Let's do another one and just make it in a different city and use a different Who song and hopefully no one will notice."

What about trying to make something new instead of the same old crap. How thick do they think we are?

It's the dream of every uncreative producer. Come up with a successful show, then clone it.

Saves the need to take a chance on that scary "orginality."
