Bloody dull

We understand Andy Blood is having to waste time defending the eligibility of ads which have appeared in Blood Magazine but also other publications and which are now being entered in award shows and having their authenticity challenged. Which is probably quite annoying for him and the creatives concerned. Many terse emails have been exchanged.

Speaking of which - Axis closes off at 4pm today.

Come on... it was a scam mag.

That's all it was meant to be.

Cheap, no money down ad space for scam work that is deemed eligible.

Its not a mag. It's an annual.

It was a way to celebrate ideas without clients or suits or weak propositions. Haven't you ever wanted to get out an idea that was rejected. This is a good thing. And the work was not deemed eligible. Keep up.

How is it a good thing? If you have a good idea rejected, surely it's better to keep hold of it in case you can actually run it for real at a later stage?
