Saatchi & Saatchi Auckland Account Manager Sam Dempsey is the winner of this year’s Title, the award created to recognise young people in our industry who don’t work in the creative department but have a passion for great ideas.
Beating a group of six impressive finalists, Dempsey wins a trip to Cannes this month to see first hand the greatest ideas in the world.
He showed the judges a fierce passion for great work coupled with some outstanding examples of going well beyond the call of duty, and the bounds of reason, to make sure great ideas from his agency saw the light of day.
“The body of work that’s already under Sam’s belt is of the highest creative standard,” said judge and Kitchen Table member Mark Cochrane, “and he’s clearly the reason why many of those ideas didn’t die. He’s a huge credit to the industry.”
The CAANZ Kitchen Table congratulates Dempsey, and also the five other finalists, all of whom were truly inspiring to meet with.
Thanks to supporters Marsden Inch Recruitment, Getty Images, Oktober and Joyride Films for their generous contributions.
