AWARD OUTLAWS BLOOD MAGAZINE AS ENTRY DEADLINE LOOMS

As was the case with Axis in New Zealand, ads which have only appeared in Blood Magazine will not be eligible for entry into AWARD.
The Call for Entry website will close on Friday 11th August at 5pm Australian Eastern Standard Time.
Manual entries will be accepted until 18th August.

What are they afraid of? Work that got Gold, Silver or finalist status in Cannes beating them to the stage?

Sad fucks.

I'd rather have a Gold Lion, thanks, 'Mate'.

How will the 'The Work' treat it? Cause 'Ketchup' and the rest got metal, meaning they're eligible for the Work.

Can. Of. Worms.

I agree with steve's comment above that there are a lot of people out there who spend an awful lot of time disparaging and soiling other people's work. And it does affect award performance.

I got a call from one of the Clio jury members last april to say that another jury member had been dissing one of our Nissan print ads as ineligible because it ran in Blood mag. Fortunately I'd anticipated this and made sure the ad was on a media schedule elsewhere. And it went on to (legitimately) get a finalist at Clio and Axis but there's no doubt it was soiled.
