Agency.com in the US, as part of a pitch to land the interactive portion of the Subway account, made a 9-minute video of . . . well, Agency.com trying to pitch the Subway account. Just as no one needs to see how the sausage is made, no one needs to see a pitch (even a dramatized one). Or do they? It's been panned by most ad critics, but what do you think?

I thought this was the most brilliant piss-take I had ever seen, the acting and the characterisations were perfect. I even thought they might have taken it a bit far by pretending to work for someplace called Agency.com – too much of a giveaway.
So when I actually found out that Agency.com is legit and that this viral is legit as well I was gobsmacked. It’s no wonder so many people in America though The Office was a reality TV series.

Hell, even writing this now part of me can’t quite believe this is actually real. Wow.

Great idea. Like the Office, except even more cringy. Fascinating look inside a big USA agency.

Oh ... my ... god ...

It's got it all right down to the stealing of ideas from ad school students. It reminded me of the people who "come up with advertising ideas" on The Apprentice...

How did they get that last bit of them uploading the video on to the video they just uploaded?

A copywriter told me I'm like a cross between Grace Kelly and Rodney Dangerfield. I hope her husband beats her.

The essential ingredient for a piss-take is funny. This is just sad. And it's not sad enough to be funny either.
Here's the readers digest version... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE0SsmAWI5k&mode=related&search=

It's not funny either, but at least it'll only be 58 seconds you'll never recover instead of 9 fucking boring minutes waiting for something funny.

a tribute to all those who think inside agencies is nothing...this demonstrates the nothingness with brilliance....and I liked the unshaven look too....very 80's....nice job
