oh come on man, I think it's nice looking. I wasn't bitching about it. Merely saying it has been done, can't remember the details there's a couple of asian ads like that, then there's a clothes one and a car one, shit I've even had that idea before. Can anyone help me out?
So what you're saying is debate is good as long as we like your ads? It seems kind sir that in fact you're doing more bitching then me. Maybe i'm wrong, maybe it's the next big ad, I don't like it, just my opinion. Did like the Primo ones though.

Saying it's been done before and not backing up your comment is the industry equivalent of outing someone as a paedolphile without any evidence. Don't do it - it's so not cool. In fact the only actual person you cite as having done this before is you... I'd love to see your ad. What's that? No ad? You just had 'the idea'? Right...

I hope you come back to life as a poo fly.

LOL! Nice one. Entertaining, the way a beer ad should be. Damn I'm thirsty. Cheers, CDW

Isn't this spot a reincarnation of the 'Squirrel' reincarnation spot for Nike via Publicis Mojo Melbourne that just won at AWARD? Our chaps certainly think there are similarities.

Ha ha. Best ad that's been on here.
Of course reincarnation's been done a couple of times in Asia - it's the fabric of several popular religions.
Done before' is getting really tiring. It's just been done bloody well whether it's been done before or not.
The way most bloggers carry on, you'd think that there was amazing work coming out all over town, and there ain't. But because I'm a grown up, I'm reasonably certain that most of the time person's outside the creative department, and probably the agency, are responsible for the average work.

so the road to enlightenment goes like this;
chainaman - bird - fish - cat - white guy

Gota love the subtext about where orientals are seen in overall scheme of life - ain't karma a bitch, that'll teach 'em for not learning to drive proper

Zac,

You are awesome man. I'm going to give you two big thumbs up.

I also had the same idea as this one, and 'just do it' and 'think different' and heaps more.

We should get together and start an agency. How about 'Dumber & Dumber'?

Dear 9.09 PM

PM? Get a life.

It's encouraging that there is at least one thought done alot in your eyes, but that is where it ends. I cannot imagine a thought of yours getting any further than your own eyes.

At least recognise a good script when you see one.

"Give the guy a good script...", tells me that you will never be in a position to give him one yourself, sad. Go back to your scam POS, sprat.

No disrespect, but when has the thought of someone repeatedly killing themselves to return as a human been done before? I just wish if someone is going to say that, they back it up.

Go to tigerbeer.co.nz/tasteitinthislife to see how the campaign has been launched. It is a worldwide idea, not meant for NZ television. Soon it will be running in the UK and Australia.

So whatever you are implying with your Mike O comment, you can stop there.

Let's get a couple of rules of this blog straight once and for all - as highlighted by the huge discussion generated around David Nobay's recent comments critical of the blog.
1: Anonymous bloggers rule, get fucking over it.
2: If you put up your work here for discussion and publicity, make sure you have a sense of maturity enough to handle it. There will be negative shit, and positive shit. You take away what you will. If you are a lily livered chicken shit that only wants positive comments, then for fucks sake pick up the phone and call your mother! This is not the forum for you you to winge about how nasty people are, that my friend is plainly a given.

Enjoy!

You are a hack. Nobody's winging but you. The guy before you just wants to know what you are talking about. But clearly not even you know.

Nice ad by the way.

Hey - I like the spot. I don't know why everyone's bagging it or trying to. It's cool - it'll get talked about, it's fun. I wish I did it. The only slim shade of doubt is the fact that Tobster did an ad campaign not that long ago for the ARC that involved coming back as things as well. But like I said that is only a very slim shade. Hopefully it gets awarded or at least shortlisted, I like it a lot, which is more than most of the people bagging it who can't even spell 'a lot'. Twerps.

Blog sites are really chat sites.

well it got awarded at Young Guns so will be interested to see how i fares at the other international shows. Surely if it gets awarded at YG which this year had 50-something judges, the fact that none of these 50 judges felt it was the same 'idea' as other reincarnation themed ads gives it merit. Like it or not, that's fine. Let the award shows tell the story.

Young guns is a great idea but some of the judging is a little inconsistant in my eyes.

Tiger ad ok still.
