8:53. Sorry about that. Please forgive us for being proud of getting a shit load of finalists at one of the toughest award shows in the world. And please also forgive us for sticking our fingers up to the sad, sad people like you who have slagged us off all year.

To whoever it is at DDB: Why not ring Mike directly rather than gloat on the blog?

Who said I was from DDB.
From the tone of your blog you must be from Saatchi Auckland.

So Mojo is going to win some stuff with the pen idea?

Sorry, I mean with someone else's idea?

I wonder if it will appear in any other award shows when they now clearly know it has been done before!?

I was in the DDB building the other day and couldn't help noticing that they've actually printed out the creative rankings chart from CB, enlarged their corner of it, and pointed out that they're a millimetre further right than Saatchi.

If I were you, Saatchis, I'd take this as the ultimate compliment: you've become the standard by which other NZ shops now judge their own creativity!

If I were you, DDB, I'd take the poster down. It, along with your blog vitriol, reveals a deep-seated inferiority complex and a rather large chip on your shoulder. (Or at least ONE of your shoulders, eh?)

DDB is an Empire, that's why they crank out so much good work. As long as they don't go round bombing the smaller agencies then it's fine by me.

8:55. So you didn't get the job then?

More like 8.55 TURNED DOWN the job 2.08. Most of us don't like having to kiss a bunch of fat asses for our day job. Lot of brown noses at DDB.

please, please, please, whoever runs this site, make it so you can't post anonymously. This is truly pathetic

None of this nonsense would happen if people had to put their names to their slander.

Kind regards, Tatsie.

Which bit is slander? All looks pretty accurate to me.

From an adgeek: Please note that the list is not even a finalist list but a semi-finalist list. This isn't the amount of guaranteed merits an agency will get, and these lists tend to have anomalies in them anyway. I don't think the 'rahhrahh DDB posters' should be getting too excited at this stage because the agency could potentially end up with one merit or no merits at the end of the day.

I see WRC got a finalist too. Well done WRCers. Hello? Hello? Anyone there at WRC? Oh yeah, that's right. They closed it down.

Wow, you stand to get a piece of metal that in 12 months will be getting dusty on some shelf holding up award books with other peoples work in. I bet you must be proud every morning when you wake up and so must your parents too. DDB if that makes you feel better well good on you, because you are only spanking your own monkey.

Reading through the comments on this blog,
the one and only conclusion one can make is that
the advertising community is very,very,imature
god you all should grow up and get out of
your nappies and do something worthwhile with your sad lives.

they are not the finalists. it is the 'long list' or semi finalists if you like. so, hold fire on the big ups kids.

10.52, most people here are just taking the piss out of the arrogance and immaturity displayed earlier in this thread by a bunch of small nobs at DDB. Or are you an embarassed DDB client trying not to be embarassed about your agency's sad boasting over some semi-finalists annoucements?
